About Beccles Parish

We long for all people to know Christ’s love, grace and mercy, the one through whom all things were made and in whom we have our being.

We are blessed with a ministry team of men and women, who each bring their gifts in service of the body of Christ.

Led by our Rector, Revd Dimitri Theulings, the team includes ordained and licensed Church of England ministers, as well as those who are non-ordained.

In response to the diocesan Growing in God project, in 2024 Beccles Parish successfully bid to become a Beacon Area. Beacon Areas are key areas around the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich to engage with children, families and youth.

Our love for Jesus is expressed in our service to our local communities in Beccles, Worlingham, North Cove and Barnby.

While Beccles and the villages mean the world to us, our Mission Focus team exists to encourage all our members to have a vision of the wider outreach of the church across the world.

We particularly want to show our support for all our Christian sisters and brothers who work to bring Christ’s love to the needy, the vulnerable and to all those who are most disadvantaged in whatever societies they live.

Whether you are looking for a place to have a children’s party or special celebration, or are organising a function with hundreds of guests, we may well have the perfect venue for your needs.
